We're getting married!!!

Welcome! My name is Courtney and my soon to be handsome hubby's name is Ross.

We have been together for four years this October.

We got together in high school and have been together ever since. Many years ago I briefly told Ross that I wanted to wait until I was 21 to get engaged. As the years went on, and our relationship grew I was so anxious for him to pop the question. Little did I know he was taking what I had said and sticking to it.

For my 21st birthday we went with my parents to Florida on vacation. It was an amazing trip, we stopped in new Orleans on the way for a night and toured the town. We got to Florida the next day, I had never seen a beach so beautiful. The sand was as white as snow and so fluffy. The water was so blue and clean. Growing up in Texas, there aren't beaches like this. The beaches in Texas can be mucky and stinky.

We enjoyed the beach, we visited local eatery's and we just rested and relaxed.

One night on our trip we went down to the beach to take pictures.

the next thing I know I turn around to find Ross down on one knee.

I am a very emotional person, so I am very surprised I didn't break down and start crying. I think I was so shocked that this was actually happening.. after waiting my whole life, here was the moment I had been waiting for. Here is the moment every little girl dreams about.

Later that night we headed down the beach to grab a bite to eat. As we were waiting to be sat... I'm not going to lie. It all hit me at once and I began blubbering like a baby. EMBARACING!!! I pulled myself together and we enjoyed a nice dinner.

After eating we took a moonlit walk back to the condo. We sat and drew our names in the sand, and talked about our future together. It was an amazing night and I am so over the moon excited that I get to marry my best friend!

The rest of the trip was great, we were giddy with excitement and repeatedly kept saying "oh my gosh, I can't believe we're getting married" and he is so proud to introduce me as his Fiancé to everyone we see.
